Our Fruit.
Cabernet Sauvignon
Faniani Vineyards focuses exclusively on growing Cabernet Sauvignon in Napa Valley’s Coombsville AVA. Our premium Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are clone 685, 169, 15 & 47 on 420A rootstock. The vineyard is professionally hand-farmed and hand-harvested, ensuring the highest level of fruit expression.
Grown for Exceptional Wines
Every vineyard decision – from planting to harvest – is guided by the goal of producing fruit that allows the winemaker to craft wines with depth, structure and balance. Every year the farming must be adjusted for changes in weather, rainfall, and the timing of key viticultural practices to ensure that the fruit delivered to our winery partners reflects the terroir of the vineyard.
Night Harvest
During harvest, grapes at Faniani Vineyards are hand-picked at night when cooler temperatures help preserve the integrity and quality of fruit expression. Harvesting in the early morning hours allows the grapes to be delivered to the winery in optimal condition, helping winemakers maintain the terroir of the vineyard in the finished wine.
We work with select winery partners who value expressive Coombsville fruit and thoughtful vineyard stewardship.
In the Bottle.
Through collaboration with talented winemakers, Faniani Vineyards fruit becomes wines that reflect the character and balance of Coombsville.
